New Terra is truly a planet that never sleeps, the system itself is one of the most populous in the Galaxy. Activity persists in, on and around every nook and cranny known to sentience, from the countless space stations in orbit to the moons which, too, are heavily populated through a unique New Terran concept of the 'bunker city.' City space is relatively compact and a large amount of the population lives in cramped conditions with higher class condos, apartments and residences costing a relative fortune for the lower classes. Most of the work force is employed in the vastly diverse number of industries or logistical services that hire labor en masse, middle and upper class citizens are often employed in a variety of services-based businesses from banking, finance, bureaucracy and similar stations.

Most major nations in the Galaxy have a presence on the planet, many of whom are allowed consulates and nearly every established Galactic economy has business or trade interests on the planet somewhere.

The Kaedler Building
Penthouse

The orange sun was dulled by the shaded windows of the impressive looking skyscraper. The Kaedler building was a monument of excess, characteristically chalked with design flaws stemming from its boast that designer fashion was involved with every facet of its creation. If the empire had understood one thing right about humans it was their greed, and their fanatical love for their own biology; so the "Nakar" delegates were living in more luxury than they could ever hope for back home. Most of the Nakar Imperial Delegation on New Terra was human, humans greased the wheels faster with other humans and the ease and access of facilities wasn't an issue. Victor Jurtikorum looked down at his angular suit shoes; a strange fashion that the capital was pumping out in recent months. The penthouse of the hotel was the perfect place for an informal meeting with the New Terran government, just who they were going to send was left in the air, the meeting they were going to have was off the books, private, Victor had contacts in the New Terran government but friends and contacts were two completely different things, especially to the New Terrans.

He took out his personal data console and flicked through it, a quick "Anything?" was shot down to his man in the hotel lobby and he set the console beside a half drunk glass of champagne, lip marked and losing its bubbles rapidly.
