Run by the wealthiest Baktan cartel boss of them all, Tiran station has become a party hub of the universe. Home to all races and beliefs, the extremely glamorous station is one of the most expensive in the world, even rivaling some of the the highest tech military outposts in the universe. It orbits the frozen ice world of Iok, and is home to a wide array of pirate ships, with their power rivaling most space-faring nation's naval forces. It is home to huge clubs and casinos, and party decks. Patrons from all over the galaxy save their entire lives to spend a week aboard the lawless station turned super-club. There are even death matches held aboard the ships, where fortunes are won and lost.

Despite of the heavy influence of the Baktan cartel, the station draws in all manner of people, rich and poor alike, to party and forget about their problems. The luxury food and drink, the wealthy casinos, mega-clubs, and arenas are impossible to find anywhere else in the entire universe.

Possible rewards: Characters from nations can visit here and gain allies in the underworld, buy and sell arms, gain intel, and maybe even be able to smuggle a handful people into the more restricted planets of the universe, like Talarin.

Nations/Groups involved:

- Baktan Cartel

What started as a handful of disgruntled minors has turned into the most widespread and dangerous cartel in the entire universe. The Baktan syndicate has a huge influence on the illegal drug trade, arms trade, and even slave trade. Tiran station is home to one of the biggest Baktan warlords, a human known as Xavier Lloris. His elite enforcers protect and make sure the station stays a party hub, not a warzone. Break the rules here, and you most likely will find yourself being spaced by one of Lloris' many guards.

- Legionaries

Mostly composed of humans and shawktae. The legionaries are a collection of mercenaries that served in the former Federal Foreign Regiment. After achieving citizenship in Europa, many of the colonists and immigrants found very little work suited to their set of skills. Instead of staying in Federal space, they left for Cartel territory and formed the Legionaries. Highly skilled and incredibly motivated, they are never short of work in Cartel space, and it is even rumored some governments have hired battalions of Legionairies to do their dirty work for them.

//Co-written post between Weaselwood and I
Tiran Station
~400000+KM from Tiran

"Okay. Communicate with the Lojari, signal for spool, lets carry on, this is a walk in the park, they're finished." Vurt-Nesh said, releasing the grip on the table. "Get all the bombers back in the hanger and start reloading, recall recall time is precious. Those pirates didn't put up much of a fight."

Fraganta Arpenum came up on the holographic command console, his grin was from ear to ear. "Fantastic work Nakar, I see the lack of anti-piracy, until recently hasn't dulled you."

Vurt-Nesh bowed to the head of the Nagarian fleet as naval ensigns darted around both the backgrounds of their channels. "Admiral Arpenum, the honour is mine and it is my first but we must hurry, time whittles as we press on-"

Arpenum cut him off, he had no time for the sickeningly sweet political perfume of the Nakar, beggars that smell like honey, that's what his fathers had told him of the Nakar. With one hand they would wipe your arse and with the other they'd whisk your guts with a blade. Admittedly though smelling beside a beggar that smelt like honey was none too bad when the universe viewed you the same. Arpenum owed nothing to humanity and his government didn't care for any amount of losses. It was time to set boot to skull. The Nagarian fleet spooled their drives, the signal between the two ships began to get shaky as the quantum wave rose.

Aboard the Nakar ships Vurt-Nesh picked up a headset and Krodesh answered the call. "I don't think they even got a tachyon out, these pirates have no idea we're coming." Krodesh opened the encrypted line with the Nagarian ships and those of the Lojari

"Gentlemen, set pre-requisite co-ordinates and jump again, let us proceed. Your reputation proceeds you Lojari, to go against insurmountable odds only to emerge victorious, we shall make sure your privateers are well reimbursed for their efforts. You may send entanglement to your people, this loot is yours. Declamatorius wishes to tell you that you may take the Pearl of Iok for your own, including its people." he turned, looking to his crew, the tension mounted again, he left the channel on, he wanted to raise morale again, unlike Vurt-Nesh he was not an academy elected fool, he had spilled entrails on moons afar for this job, some friendly. He opened his jugular glands and bellowed "COME YOU BEASTS, LET US ENTER THE FRAY ONCE MORE!"

With this, the Nakar ships and the Nagarian ships spooled up, then entered the frey, the difference in the FTL between the two species showed as the Nagarian one crackled them with bolts of yellow lightning and the Nakar slid away in a blue haze that bend the appearance of the stars around them.

The Lojari pirates, spurned by their latest success were keen to join this galactic victory, right now these small time freebooters had benefitted from what they thought was an end-of-line "retire or expire" make or break job. After some consulting, they called in their codes and their brethren from Gurragashmiyar and Lojar would have something to earn. The Vultures, the Emmisaries and the Curses had made an even larger name for themselves. Slavers and shipbreakers would arrive momentarily, and they would be riding on the coat tails of the Corvette drives that dared to go toe-to-toe with "The Beast" not only vanquishing the pride of Lloris but also gaining drawing a clear line in the sand. The Baktan pirate days were ending, and with it the question of pirate supremacy. Lojar would rule the untamed seas now, as the kings had predicted. The Frigate, the two destroyers and the 9 corvettes jumped in after the Nakar with the codes given to them.

Tiran Station
'Executive' Suite
Moments before the station's destruction

"Come on! When are we going~" the woman cried, exasperated from waiting. A heavily tattooed man with augments spoke up shortly thereafter.

"If it helps, the Boss says to drag you out of here within the hour. Literally if we have to." the thug growled out, a bulky SMG hanging by his hip.

Lao sighed, continuing to regale himself in the bathroom's mirror. He liked to look good, but he felt the white suit was too on the nose and although he wanted to head back to the closet it appears the brute outside the door had made the decision for him. White it is. He slapped the access panel, walking out and put his arm around his girl whilst ignoring the muscle.

"Take it you're ready to go, girl?"

"Uh... duh!" she replied curtly, a playful smile on her face which he couldn't help but reciprocate himself as he spanked her lightly. The thug followed in close proximity, a hand rested on his slung weapon. When then finally exited the suite they met the 'Boss' an Aranek calling himself Grisha who wasted little time in scolding them.

"What took you so long? Fucking idiot, we can't miss this drop!"
the enormous reptilian gangster hissed at them, Grisha differed from Lao's appearance sharply with custom body armor covering his body entirely with only his face left unmasked to show his heavily-scarred visage. Nonetheless, Grisha was a reliable mercenary who always handled his business with the added bonus of knowing when to mind it as well making him the preferred candidate to protect and escort a 'Networking Specialist' such as Lao.

"You need to know when to chill, scales." Lao smirks, ever the cocky one. "Nakar data is tricky, I've only just breached them with my boys a few hours ago. Your handlers want some of that good pharmaceutical data they're gonna have to get read-" he was cut short by pure vacuum. A direct hit from the assaulting warships. Bad luck, damned bad luck. He could've swore he saw his duvet float past as he died in the cold darkness of space.
