![]() Run by the wealthiest Baktan cartel boss of them all, Tiran station has become a party hub of the universe. Home to all races and beliefs, the extremely glamorous station is one of the most expensive in the world, even rivaling some of the the highest tech military outposts in the universe. It orbits the frozen ice world of Iok, and is home to a wide array of pirate ships, with their power rivaling most space-faring nation's naval forces. It is home to huge clubs and casinos, and party decks. Patrons from all over the galaxy save their entire lives to spend a week aboard the lawless station turned super-club. There are even death matches held aboard the ships, where fortunes are won and lost. Despite of the heavy influence of the Baktan cartel, the station draws in all manner of people, rich and poor alike, to party and forget about their problems. The luxury food and drink, the wealthy casinos, mega-clubs, and arenas are impossible to find anywhere else in the entire universe. Possible rewards: Characters from nations can visit here and gain allies in the underworld, buy and sell arms, gain intel, and maybe even be able to smuggle a handful people into the more restricted planets of the universe, like Talarin. Nations/Groups involved: - Baktan Cartel What started as a handful of disgruntled minors has turned into the most widespread and dangerous cartel in the entire universe. The Baktan syndicate has a huge influence on the illegal drug trade, arms trade, and even slave trade. Tiran station is home to one of the biggest Baktan warlords, a human known as Xavier Lloris. His elite enforcers protect and make sure the station stays a party hub, not a warzone. Break the rules here, and you most likely will find yourself being spaced by one of Lloris' many guards. - Legionaries Mostly composed of humans and shawktae. The legionaries are a collection of mercenaries that served in the former Federal Foreign Regiment. After achieving citizenship in Europa, many of the colonists and immigrants found very little work suited to their set of skills. Instead of staying in Federal space, they left for Cartel territory and formed the Legionaries. Highly skilled and incredibly motivated, they are never short of work in Cartel space, and it is even rumored some governments have hired battalions of Legionairies to do their dirty work for them. |

An unmarked and private corvette enters the system and beelines towards Tiran station. It would not seem out of the ordinary but the ship seems much higher tech than most. |

Another ship joins in on the bustling of the system. Then a few more, these ships were un-relatable, their markings vastly different, but then again, what was uncommon at a pirate station. These ships also made a beeline for the various hangers of Tiran, transmitting the usual guest codes. |

5000km from Tiran Debris Field The Nakar ISR remained in its position, hugging the signature of some debris in the system. It probably could have maintained an incognito presence with the traffic in the system. It was never going to get detected in its current state. On-board the eight operators were continuing to play the latest fad sweeping the empire known only as "Black Jack" colloquially as Triple Sevens. A message, quantum entanglement. "So, we've been ordered to put a bit of a closer eye on our business objectives." "What do you mean?" "They want us to transmit the amount of active naval vessels in the system. I think command is sizing these guys up, we might just get front row seats to this whole thing." A vague cheer went up within the craft. "There's a catch. I'm not risking detection, so I'm cutting the life support. Everyone, into EXAT suits, we're sending a Quan-Tang in fifteen." |

Tiran Station The docking codes are repeated in several different languages and sent towards the Lojari ships. They are sent to one of the lower decks of the station to dock and disembark. Several hundred ships would surround Tiran station, with at least one ship that could be classified as a heavy cruiser. A giant Baktan insignia is painted on the hull of the ship. It is Lloris' flagship, The Beast, boasting incredibly heavy weapons and armor, it is flanked by a large escort of destroyers and frigates. Occasional pirate fleets also fly in and out of the system. Putting a consensus on how strong Tiran station really is will be difficult without getting more intel from either the pirates or in the station itself. |

Nakar Stealth Vessel "Okay, send the codes, single transmission, quantum entanglement." The Nakar scuttled round their ship as it send bare text messages through space, targets, areas, enemies. Edited by Rookzilla, Jan 29 2018, 12:15 PM.

Tiran Station No sooner had the Nakar sent their message than they would bare witness to the bright blue flashes of military grade nuclear bombs. As the Lojari ships docked they spooled their devices and detonated, smashing the interiors and fracturing Tiran station. The blue explosions engulfed the stations in a synchronised countdown. From above the Station, the raiders jumped in. The Emissaries, the Vultures and the Curses poured down, mixing formations at point blank with the pirates they had practically jumped in on-top of. One Frigate, two destroyers and nine corvettes shot an array of weaponry at the surrounding vehicles. Some smaller craft like fighter planes and civilian vessels were being utilised as marine transports for the more ambitions mercenaries. |

Tiran Station 500000+ KM ![]() In the commotion of the battle. The overbearing dreadnoughts of Vurt-Nesh and Krodesh slid out of hyperspace like a lizard slinking down from a tree. The little blips on the ships flickering on as the hangars went live and began to haemorrhage Space Superiority Fighters, ISRs and Nuclear Missile fighters. The dreadnoughts were at maximum range and they were about to bully a cruiser into oblivion, without care for the losses of their Lojari "kin." The ugly 50 metre spines slipped from the top of the craft as the interior of the ship shuddered; the gods were awakening, and it was time to bring down their wrath. The interior of the spinal mount crackled to live under an ominous red light as the reactors burned themselves red hot for the power they needed. The complimentary CIWS packages laid out fields of delayed flak at short range and the LASER arrays deeply scanned, quantum DIRAX and DIMAGNID swept through the infra-red chaos on the monitors like a mighty hand swiping through a maelstrom. As the two dreadnoughts charged their spinal mounts the fighters started their long march to engagement. The nuclear bombers however wasted no time, they fired their first salvo. The dreadnoughts held a wing of 50 each, and each nuclear bomber had 2 standoff fin assisted railgun rounds to use in one salvo, rotating salvos allowed them to make 3 "runs" before they needed to refuel. The dullness of space was complimented by a firecracker of formed neutron tipped rockets fired from standoff range. Vurt-Nesh stood gripping his command station with a sweaty hand, even the DIRAX operator had a snarl, the hounds had been released and nothing more than a pound of flesh would suffice. The swansong of the living came in the form of the last magnetic field drain prior to the generation of the large accelerator. With what sounded like a mechanical water cooler oozing its last the whole ship vibrated as the two dreadnoughts lurched and belched forth a composite round the size of a double decker bus over the bridge of the abyss. "The Beast" as the ship was named would soon know the leash. Edited by Rookzilla, Jan 29 2018, 12:39 PM.

Tiran Station 300000+ KM from Tiran 200000+ KM from Nakar Fleet As Nakar projectiles sailed through the air the familiar flashes of Nagarian FTL ripped through the system, strong-arming the Nagaran Federal Fleet into Iok. The Flagship of the Nagarian Navy, complimented by its two Supercarriers and its two Battleships stepped onto the dark field of battle. Seconds passed that seemed like an eternity before they let loose their projectile horde. They didn’t care for the fanciful long range missiles of the Nakar. They were not to sit idle like a child with a spear poking rodents, they were going to get down and tear their apart with their fingers and teeth. The supercarriers excreted a mass of fighters, with high stealth cross sections and fairly basic navigational systems, but armed to the teeth and armoured to the airframe. In no more than 7 seconds had their achieved full flight departure had the Nagarian warplanes activated their afterburners and shot into the fray. The Nagarian ships let loose a horde of missiles and kinetic batteries. Lasers were no good at this range but they were going to point them at the range of civilian and military ships to blind at range or kill at close quarters. 30 seconds until they were on them, and then it was all over. Nobody would escape. |

Tiran Station The station was well defended, but not enough to take the combined force of three separate fleets. It wouldn't take long for ships to begin jumping out of the system at the first sign of the Lojari, but when the two Nakar ships arrived it was pretty much over. The combined force of the fleets entering the system completely overwhelmed the pirate fleets and completely wiped it from the face of the galaxy. Now the station began to buckle, and soon it began to implode, unable to take the sheer firepower and devastation. The station was packed with civilians though, not combatants. Hundreds of thousands of innocents were instantly silenced. Including the Mireille DuPont, niece to Francis DuPont, the Chancellor of the UFE, and Prince Richard, fourth in line to the Commonwealth Crown. |
